How long has it been now since an update? Too long, that’s how long. And yet, not a lot has happened in the few short weeks. Let me see…
I donated and sold some art and photo’s for a charity auction for T4G’s Spring Fling. There was food, Music, drinks (Im still off of the beer for my New Year’s Resolution) and loads of people to chat with. Russell Smith was the MC, keeping us entertained with his witty banter and T4G’s very own Foodie Joanna Killen lavished us with some of her sultry tone’s. Mets lots of amazing folks like Steph Downey, Christiana Reardon, and Co workers from other G offices. Loads of artwork and photography was sold and it was an all around good time.
What else…
At 33-ish, I’m the proud new owner of my very own drivers licence. You will laugh but really I had never really needed one. I lived in the Beautiful Saint John all of my life until the few recent years. When in town, I walked or took a bus. I have the street smarts yo….cred…you better recognize!!! But yes, I now am a part of this thing we call traffic… just like you all….y’all.. RECONIZE!
And then….
OH, Ryan (The McMillan kind) and I tried to record another podcast BUT again were thwarted by technical difficulty…please stand by. We’re on the hunt for some mixing software. LIVE LIFE IN THE COUNTRY! Recognise?
But then….
The Wifey-poo and I will soon relocate offices. We will transition from out Saint John Office to our Moncton office. Longer commute BUT it’s to the benefit of T4G and the Content team. Im looking forward to the new digs but will miss some, NOT ALL, of the people I see every day (You know who youse are)
And all of the sudden…
I have recently became the proud owner of an ipad…I called her Maxi (See what i did there) and we are best’ies.
Spring has arrived and with that, some reasonable warmer weather…so with that…. more physical activity in which I’ll inevitably get hurt and damaged. Like last year, I’ve began my mountain biking again. That in itself is not dangerous but coupled with narrow roads and rednecks driving 70 in a 50 past me…it defiantly adds some spice, OR when I’m barrelling down an 60 degree pitch dirt road at 40 an hour that has been washed out by rain… Jinkies… I get a fit of nervous giggles that I’m sure wild life are embarrassed to hear.
Another way I’ll sustain copious amounts of damage…NOW, i know you’re thinking that I’ll be doing something extreme…like Bungee jumping out of a burning helicopter into a crocodile/shark hybrid infested pool, that is on fire..but no, the other way will I will be seriously hurt will be skateboarding with the boy. He turns 10 in a few days and wanted a skateboard. So needing to NOT be bored while he is falling down, I figured I’d get one to and fall down with him. Good times.
Wish me luck in my recovery.
In closing I’ll leave you with a photoshoot I did with Ivon Gaudet(Photographer), Ryan Lavigne(photographer) Mika Edison (Model) and me (Model????)
IT’s nice and creepy.
